PURUSHOTTAM ANAND

ADVOCATE, FOUNDER

Purushottam Anand is a lawyer and tech enthusiast who focusses on finding solutions to the legal challanges faced by tech startups. He regularly assists startups on a wide spectrum of issues ranging from incorporation, fundraising, corporate advisory and taxation. Anand has previously worked with Big 4 consultancy firm EY and law firm Lumiere Law Partners where he advised and represented leading MNCs and India companies including Microsoft, Adobe, NTT Data, Mercedes, Rayban and Sony. He has completed his B.A.LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M. (Business Laws) from National Law University, Delhi.

He is also a frequent speaker, educator, and writer on various aspects of emerging tech law. He is passionate about bridging the gaps between innovators and regulators, and fostering a conducive and compliant environment for the growth of emerging tech industry.

Mr. Arya is a retired IRS officer who retired as a Member of CESTAT (Indirect Tax Appellate Tribunal) and has previously served as Chief Commissioner (GST), Deputy Director in Enforcement Directorate and Officer on special duty to Hon'ble Vice-President of India.
